I just got back from MayoClinic and am currently recuperating from all the travel, so here's your August humor! I will see you again on Wednesday. Don't forget to vote in the poll about what I'll be posting! *Poll closed*
Hello, friends, and welcome to June! Without further ado, I leave you to the humor. I'll be back Wednesday.
It's time for our May humor post, which, by tradition, focuses on videos instead of images. So here you go! Enjoy! I will return Tuesday. *Mild language and spoiler warning*
Hey, guys! Welcome to today's post and a happy early birthday to me! :D It's time for our April humor post. So please enjoy, and I will see you again Tuesday.
Well, we're into March, which means that we're moving from winter to spring! And I'm in the process of finally recovering from that hydrodistention, so we'll see how things go. In the meantime, here are some more funny pics for you to enjoy. See you again on Wednesday. (Top Ten Tuesday will return on the 21st.)
Welcome to the shortest month of the year! For your enjoyment, here are some varied humorous images. Have fun, and I'll see you again Wednesday.
Hello! First Saturday of the year means our first humor post of the year! Thanks for checking in, I'll see you again Wednesday, and please do enjoy.
Hey friends! I finally was able to go to the doctor and examine my extensive test results, which indicate a number of imbalances. Most of them are indicative of severe inflammation, which is probably the interstitial cystitis, and a lack of energy as a result of the body's attempt to fight the inflammation. The doctor has me on like 12 new supplements to correct it, along with my usual meds. It's a little ridiculous but it'll be totally worth it if it helps me feel a bit better! I'd so, so love to be able to think and write fairly freely again. Exhaustion really ruins the intellect.
Anyway, with that news, I'll leave you to enjoy our December humor post. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you again Tuesday, as usual.
How is it November already? Ack!!! Well, to help stave off any election-related stress, here are some funny pics (and a couple of videos) for y'all. I'll see you again Tuesday, or some other day, if we aren't all dead by then. *shrugs*
Sorry for not posting earlier this week. It's been a really bad one for me. Also in general. 2016 is a trash fire. Anyway, your prayers and good thoughts on my behalf would be greatly appreciated, as I'm struggling immensely with my fibromyalgia and associated depression right now.
So, in order to make up for all the awful, today I'm just going to post a bunch of adorable cats. Cats fix everything. Hug a cat today (unless you're allergic, you poor, poor human being), and I'll try to get back on track again for Tuesday (not quite).
Tis the season for orangey colors, falling leaves, and Halloween! I'm not a big fan of fall, thanks to the effect the cold has on my fibromyalgia, but there are things to love about it. October's a decent month. So here's your humor post to go along with it! See you again Tuesday (NOPE).
Last week, I shared with you my last "Waiting On" Wednesday book of 2016! Awesome, right? So we're taking a break this week to do a Wordy Wednesday instead. :) I put up the poll for you guys last week and you voted for a terrible first novel excerpt!
I already posted one of my first novel attempts on here, but I haven't shared the first full-length novel I ever actually finished: THE DRAGON SLAYERS, which was an MG fantasy about a group of magically gifted girl friends and/or sisters fighting an evil organization of dragon slayers. I finished it when I was 11... and ended up throwing out the only printed copy and erasing the document from my computer because my friends didn't like the title. A+ critique managing skills, do not recommend.
I did, however, write some of THE DRAGON SLAYERS in my diary at the time, which means I still have a small excerpt not lost to the winds of childhood whims. And so here you guys have it! The last remnants of THE DRAGON SLAYERS. (It begins with a couple of wonderful poems.) Thanks for reading, share any thoughts you have, and I'll see you again Saturday!
I'm an unpublished novelist, primarily of YA fantasy, on medical leave from my Master's program. I love music, psychology, cats, social justice, and love! I'm a huge fangirl. Basically, stories are my life.
