My brother broke my sewing needle, but I found a pen and my recorder.

Apparently, it was a "perfect" day, but I don't elaborate on why.

Today, we started SBA testing, and I helped a friend study on the bus. I thought a lot about how I was getting contacts soon! We practiced hard in Orchestra for the ASTA Festival, and a girl in PE told me that she had the same shirt as me but it looked better on me, which made me feel slightly uncomfortable.

I was recovering from being sick and was apparently both quite dizzy and very grumpy at how few people cared that I was back at school again. I was also upset because an agent had rejected me.
February 25th, 2010, Tenth Grade
I went through school as usual. There was a fire drill at one point, and my hip was causing me a lot of trouble. Us LDS kids were given cards to invite people to a lesson thing, which I didn't do, but one of the guys was giving them out to all his "friends" and they kept ripping them up, which was really sad.

I got a really bad sore throat and had to stay home, which was extremely upsetting for me because I was supposed to be going on my first date, finally, and so I sat around and watched Harry Potter and was depressed, and I wrote this long sad thing about how clearly I was not meant to live an epic life but to sit on the sidelines instead.

Today I went to Adams State's "Discovery Day" to prepare to attend the next year. Though very stressed out by social expectations, I did like the school as much as I had every other time I went. I auditioned at the music department with cello and voice and was told that if I declared Music as a major instead of a minor, I would get a scholarship. So I spent the rest of the day trying to decide what to do with my life.
February 25th, 2013, Freshman Year of College
I woke up excruciatingly grumpy, and the first couple of pages of the entry here are mostly the word "no." I took a nap after my first class, though, and then felt somewhat better. I stumbled my way through the rest of the day, was grateful for the existence of my friends, did enjoy working on my editing job, practiced for a cello concert, and very gladly went back to bed.

Now at BYU-Idaho, I wrote the script for a Lit project where we were filming an adaptation of a short story, most of which appeared in the text of my journal because I totally do my homework in class all the time. I worried that overeating may have become a replacement compulsion for my self-mutilation. Then I spent the evening watching Supernatural.
