All right! As promised, I'm sharing the books at the top of my to-read list for the next quarter, Spring 2018, of which there are eight. I shared five of these already as "Waiting On" Wednesdays, but the rest are new.
Defy the Worlds by Claudia Gray is the second in a YA sci-fi series, featured here, and releases on April 3rd.
Beyond a Darkened Shore by Jessica Leake is a YA fantasy novel, featured here, that releases on April 10th.
Shadow Call by AdriAnne Strickland and Michael Miller is the second in a YA sci-fi series, featured here, and releases on April 17th.
The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan is the third in a MG/YA fantasy series, featured here, and releases on May 1st.
LIFEL1K3 by Jay Kristoff is a YA sci-fi novel, featured here, that releases on May 29th.
Tell Me No Lies by A.V. Geiger is the second YA thriller in the Follow Me Back series. It releases on June 5th and continues the story of a fangirl and her idol dealing with the issue of stalking, as told through multiple formats. The first book was one of my best YA books of 2017.
The Bird and the Blade by Megan Bannen is a YA fantasy novel that releases on June 5th. It's a retelling of the Persian legend of Princess Turandokht, where a slave girl watches her owner's son take on the three riddles necessary to win the hand of a princess.
The Fall of Innocence by Jenny Torres Sanchez is a YA contemporary novel that releases on June 12th. It tells the story of a girl who discovers that the man who was charged with the rape that happened to her when she was eight years old might, in fact, be innocent.
What books are you most looking forward to in April through June? Add these to your list, and I'll be back again next week for our quarterly humor post!
