I've decided to start doing these "taking stock" updates on a more regular basis. I think they'll be more meaningful when there's more context. (Besides, they help me get my blog queue filled up. 😉) So here's the update for December as told through a variety of "-ing" verbs.

Wanting: my shoulder to stop feeling all pinched
Wishing: snowstorms didn't make me sicker
Waiting: for presents to come for me to wrap
Disliking: how quickly this year seems to
Admiring: neighbors' Christmas lights
Enjoying: any content related to baby yoda
Loving: baby yoda, as noted above
Hoping: I'll get a little closer to my goals
before the year ends
Wondering: why abled people are always so
disappointed to hear that I've not been
cured of my incurable chronic illnesses
Pondering: the exactly likelihood of WandaVision destroying my life in 2021
Thinking: that I want to adopt baby yoda
Noticing: that everyone else wants to adopt baby yoda
Knowing: that if baby yoda dies the Internet will revolt
Needing: a sign that says "Just Read My Blog" for when people ask me questions IRL
Following: most recently on Twitter, The Mandalorian
Buying: Christmas presents
Feeling: decently happy
