Thanksgiving is coming up on Thursday, so today I'm sharing my yearly gratitude list!
Like last year, I'm thankful for my friends, my family, and my cats.
I'm thankful for the work I've been able to do on #OCDStory--even though it's not so much as I
had hoped this year..
I'm thankful for the opportunities and resources I have that have gotten me through past
challenges, and I'm thankful for the other challenges I haven't had to face.
I'm especially thankful that my family continues to be willing and able to support me.
I'm thankful for stories and for the beauty that exists in humanity and the universe!
I'm thankful for modern technology and science that allows greater communication and
education and that allows me me to live the quality of life that I do.
I'm thankful for God and His plan.
I'm thankful for all the people who came before me to make my life possible.
I'm thankful for those who fight for social justice and for great public services like libraries.
This year, I'm also thankful for the success I've had as a freelance editor, enough that my
business will continue next year.
I'm thankful that I've been able to contribute to my family financially.
I'm thankful for the new understandings I've gained about writing and publishing and my place in that world.
I'm thankful for chocolate! (I can eat about an ounce of it!) And for other foods I may be able to
eat in the future.
I'm thankful for The Mandalorian and the adorable yoddler, to whom I pledge my fealty.
Look! At! This! Absolute! Baby!
I'm thankful for my other fandoms too. ?
I'm thankful for another year of growth and learning.
Share what you're grateful for in the comments! Next week, I'll share more about the recent epiphany I had about my writing.
