As I've mentioned before, people generally either hate or love Steven Moffat, the current head writer for BBC TV shows Doctor Who and Sherlock. I'm on the love side, and, because he's one of my writing idols, I want to list his strengths and weaknesses and talk about how I think his strengths balance out enough to make him a brilliant writer.
Honestly, Moffat has some incredible raw skill, the kind that you don't find every day, and that's why I admire him. I can like him despite his imperfections, because I believe his strengths are just that incredible. I also hope and believe that he can overcome his weaknesses with practice and focus.
Before I go, I'd like to list a few of the brilliant ideas hat have caused me to be so amazed with his writing.
